BizBook — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 August 2026

BizBook ("the app", "we", "us") is a business-management app for invoicing, point of sale, and inventory. It is published by Bery Health and Supplies LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company trading as FieldHealth Africa, of 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, and operated by Bery Health & Supplies SARL of Molyko, Buea, Cameroon (NIU M062618814647G).

This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and your choices. Plain language, no surprises.

1. Who we are

2. The short version

3. Data the app handles

a) Business data you enter. Products, inventory, batches, sales, invoices, estimates, clients, suppliers, expenses, payments, bank and cash balances, and staff records you choose to add. This is your operational data.

b) Account data (only if you create an account). Your email address, and either an encrypted password or a Google sign-in, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase) to sign you in and sync your data. We never store your password in readable form.

c) Your email address for the user manual (optional). The last step of setup asks, separately and optionally, for an address to send you the BizBook user manual. This is not the business email printed on your invoices; leaving it blank skips it entirely, and there is no pre-ticked box anywhere in that flow. If you provide it, we store it on your device and send it to our Supabase project together with the language you chose, your business type, the app version, and a short installation tag used to limit abuse of the form. No business data of any kind is sent with it: no sales, no products, no customers, no figures. We use the address only to send you the manual and occasional important notices about the app, and we never share, sell, or rent it. To be removed, email us at the address in section 11.

d) Voice input (only if you use voice entry). If you use the optional voice-entry feature to dictate a sale or expense, your speech is converted to text using your device's speech-recognition service (which may be provided by Google on Android). We receive only the resulting text, which you review before anything is saved. The microphone is used only while you actively hold the record button.

e) Images you submit to AI features (only if you use them). When you use Scan-to- Inventory or Invoice/Receipt OCR, the photo you take is sent, through our secure backend proxy, to our AI provider (Anthropic) to extract text and product details. Natural- language report questions are sent the same way. Images and queries are used only to return your result; they are not used to train AI models, and they are not kept once the request has been answered.

f) Crash reports (optional, off until you agree). If you accept the first-launch prompt, a crash sends the error, its stack trace, your app version, Android version, device model, and locale to Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service. It never sends a user or business identifier, so a report cannot be tied back to you or your shop, and it never sends screenshots, product names, prices, totals, customer details, or anything from a sale, invoice, or payment. Collection is switched off in the app's manifest and enabled at runtime only after you agree. Turning it off in Settings → Privacy stops it immediately and deletes anything still queued.

g) Usage analytics (optional, off by default). If you turn it on, we record the names of a few setup milestones — opening the app, finishing setup, making a first sale — with the app version and how long the step took. Nothing else. No amounts, no product or customer names, no free text; the table that stores it has no column that could hold them. It goes to our own Supabase project, not to an advertising network.

We do not collect contacts, precise location, health or clinical records, or browsing history. BizBook is a business-operations tool, not a health-records system.

Device permissions the app may request, and why:

Every permission is optional: denying it disables only the matching feature.

4. Why we use it

5. Where your data is stored, and how it is protected

6. Payments

BizBook never sees your card number or your mobile-money PIN. We do not build or operate a payment system; licensed processors handle the money.

Whichever route applies, the app stores only your plan and your remaining AI credits.

7. Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the features you use:

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, or use it for advertising.

8. Your choices and rights

9. Data retention

Local data is kept until you delete it or uninstall the app. Cloud data is kept while your account is active and removed when you delete your account. Manual-email addresses are kept until you ask us to remove them.

10. Children

BizBook is intended for business owners and staff. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, noted in the app.
